The principle mosque of Putrajaya, the Putra Mosque is one of the major landmarks of Malaysia. Facing the Putrajaya Lake, the rose-tinted building with Arabic-Islamic architecture is famous as the "Pink Mosque".Located next to Perdana Putra, Putra Mosque welcomes non-muslim visitors to explore the mosque during the visiting hours. The mosque provides funeral services, a dining hall for over 200 people, an auditorium for around 380 people, lecture rooms and is also a learning centre. Free leaflets in many languages including English are available to help out tourists and Non-Muslim visitors in understanding more about Islamic culture and traditions.
